Automotive Engineering Again Successfully Passed 5 PKM Proposals for 5 Fields in 2021

Padang – In order to guide students to become individuals who know the rules, obey the rules, are creative, innovative, and cooperatively objective in building intellectual diversity, the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs organizes the 2021 Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM). To that end, the Direktorat Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan, Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi has reviewing the PKM 5 Fields proposals and announced the results on May 6, 2021.

PKM in 2021 there are some changes. Quoted from the official website simbelmawa.kemdikbud.go.id there have been several changes to the name of the five-field scheme.  There were three regions that changed names and one scheme whose implementation and funding has changed.  PKM-P (PKM-Penelitian) becomes PKM-R (PKM-Riset), PKM-P (PKM-Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) becomes PKM-PM (PKM-Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat), PKM-T (PKM-Penerapan Teknologi) becomes PKM-PI (PKM-Penerapan IPTEK).  In addition, there are changes in the process of submitting proposals and implementing the PKM-GFK (PKM-Gagasan Futuristik Konstruktif).  And “Changes in the process of submitting proposals and implementing PKM-GFK which were previously incentives to become funding,” quoted from simbelmawa.kemdikbud.go.id.

Thanks to the hard work of the student team and supervisors under the coordination of the Wakil Rektor III Bidang Kemahasiswaan, as well as the results of the reviewer’s assessment, finally as many as 27 proposals from Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) students at the 2021. Pekan Kreatifitas Mahasiswa (PKM) was successfully passed and funded by Kemdikbudristek. This assurance was conveyed through the Letter of the Dirjen Belmawa No.  1949/E2/KM.05.01/2021 dated May 5, 2021.

Of the 27 proposals, they came from UNP students from 7 faculties, namely the most from Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) and the Fakultas Teknik (FT) with 10 proposals each, followed by the Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) with 3 proposals, while from the Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS), the Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS) and the Fakultas Ekonomi (FE) and the Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan (FPP) 1 proposal each.

Of the 27 funded proposals, 3 are Assistant Lecturers from the Automotive Engineering department and 4 students from the Automotive Engineering department, either as chairpersons or team members.  The titles and their teams are as follows:

  1. PKM-PI with the title “Pengembangan dan Penerapan Robot Pemanen Buah Pinang Super Cepat pada Kelompok Tani Mekar Sari di Nagari Sikabu Kabupaten Padang Pariaman” chaired by Fakhrur Rozi (S1 Electronic Engineering), along with members Muhammad Ilham (S1 Civil Engineering), Muklis (S1 Mechanical Engineering), Adi Candra (S1 Automotive Engineering), Giya Anggraini (Indonesian Literature).  And the Assistant Lecturer Wawan Purwanto, S.Pd., M.T., Ph.D. (Automotive Engineering).
  2. PKM-K with the title “Produksi Alat Pendingin Ikan Melalui Sumber Energi Angin Sebagai Solusi Bagi Nelayan Bagan Guna Mendukung Industri Teknologi Berkelanjutan” is chaired by Rifaldo Paslah (S1 Automotive Engineering Education) and its members are Indra Bayu (S1 Automotive Engineering Education), Adytio Fran Noveli (S1 Automotive Engineering Education), Munira Alzura (S1 Physics), and Sintia (S1 Biology).  And the Assistant Lecturer Rifdarmon S.Pd., M.Pd.T. (Automotive Engineering).
  3. PKM-KC with the title “Smart Alert” chaired by Riko Saputra (S1 Automotive Engineering Education) and its members Gilang M. Rahmadi (S1 Automotive Engineering Education), Dedi Mulyono (S1 Automotive Engineering Education), and Yuvani Oksarianti (Statistics). And Assistant Lecturer Ahmad Arif, S.Pd., M.T. (Automotive Engineering).
  4. KM-KC with the title “Inovasi Alat Penyekir Katup Otomatis Berbasis Microcontroller” chaired by Yuvani Oksarianti (Statistics) and its members are Dedi Mulyono (S1 Automotive Engineering Education), Riko Saputra (S1 Automotive Engineering Education) and Doni Saputra (S1 Automotive Engineering Education). And Assistant Lecturer Ahmad Arif, S.Pd., M.T. (Automotive Engineering).
  5. KM-KC with the title “Alat Pelindung Jemuran Gabah dari Hama Menggunakan Variabel Ultrasonik Berbasis Arduino Uno” chaired by Aprizal Saputra (S1 Mechanical Engineering) and its members Gilang M. Rahmadi (S1 Automotive Engineering Education), Icha Yesika (Geography), Priti Melini (Geography).  And Assistant Lecturer Ahmad Arif.,S.Pd,.M.T (Automotive Engineering).

On that occasion, the head of the automotive engineering department, Prof. Dr. Wakhidnuddin S., M.Pd. along with all Lecturers conveyed his pleasure and support for this activity and gave appreciation and enthusiasm to the team of lecturers and students who passed.
